Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Practices for a Sustainable City

In mid-2021, the Longfor Group formally established the "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" Working Group, which will focus on the three major focal points of low-carbon, green and health, combine sustainable development with the full life cycle of buildings, and run through five stages: site selection, design, construction, operation and renewal to help improve the environmental benefit performance of Longfor ESG, and strive to achieve scientific "carbon peak" in the full life cycle of all projects until the goal of "carbon neutralization" is completed in the medium and long term.

Ultra Low Energy Buildings
New Standard for Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction

Gaobeidian Railway City is a near-zero energy consumption demonstration project in the 13th Five-Year Plan and the first PHI regional certification project.

The total land area of the Gaobeidian Railway City is 310,000 square meters, and the total above-ground construction area is 336,000 square meters. 36 residential buildings and 1 kindergarten are all designed in accordance with ultra-low energy consumption passive building standards.

As the world's largest ultra-low passive energy building complex, the Railway City can independently generate heat, insulation and heat dissipation to ensure indoor physical comfort, as well as save energy and protect the environment by automatically filtering PM10 and PM2.5 particles in the atmosphere, actively providing a green living space for owners.

    Low Carbon Green Communities

    Technology Empowerment
Intelligent Communities Reduce Carbon and Consumption

Longfor has been deeply involved in the community service industry for more than 20 years and continued to practice the green concept, realizing the unification of service upgrading and energy consumption downgrading through the convenient service of the intelligent platform.

On the one hand, Longfor uses the technology alliance that closely integrates the Internet of Things + Internet + platform to develop its own remote monitoring platform for FM&RBA equipment, to achieve full coverage of important equipment in the community, and to continuously optimize energy consumption and operation efficiency.

On the other hand, it relies on big data for decision-making and design services, constantly optimizes its management model and provides owners with a full range of low-carbon and convenient services such as smart front desk, online self-service and green renewal and renovation.

      Low-carbon TOD development

Efficient Access to the Station and City
      Improve City Livability

As a pioneer and in-depth practitioner of TOD development in China, Longfor has developed a number of leading TOD projects in Chongqing, Chengdu, Wuhan, Shanghai and other cities in China.

From the beginning of site selection, Longfor TOD has made efficient use of the public transport system, and the planning and construction stages have fully integrated the city's residential, consumer, parking and public transport functions.

Longfor TOD uses friendly connection methods and guidance to create pedestrian-friendly blocks and helps surrounding residents to improve their quality of life, improve living experience, enhance urban comfort, and promote the sustainable development of the local urban economy.

        New Intelligent Headquarters
Green Template Opens up a Better Future

As a landmark masterpiece of Longfor Group's urban renewal, Longfor Blue Engine Industrial Park, where the Intelligent Headquarters of Longfor Group is located, was formerly known as the Auto Parts Mall and was officially opened in May 2021.

In the process of renovation design and implementation in the past two years, Longfor has fully respected the conditions of the building proper, generated no additional structural usage and reduced carbon emissions by approximately 42,632.09 tons.

The project adopts prefabricated construction technology and green prefabricated building materials produced by Longfor Ecosystem, with an assembly rate of nearly 75% and a 50% increase in efficiency compared to traditional construction methods. At the same time, the latest Intelligent Building and Internet of Things System are set up to integrate and control the building's energy consumption, continuously optimize energy use and create a green paradigm with low-carbon concepts.
